Joe Mendelson

Joe's Bike

Joe Mendelson came to NYC from upstate, already a professional musician at the age of 17. He immediately delved into the possibilities of rich multi-media experiences with his groundbreaking groups Fibre, Rise Robots Rise and The Trey Gunn Band, and in 1997 co-founded The Living Room, an institution in the New York music scene. His expertise on the connections of sound and vision led naturally to the establishment of Gramercy Post, formerly Antenna Productions, an Emmy Award-winning post-production studio for films and documentaries, television, commercials, music and aural branding. Joe doesn't just work from Gramercy; he'll happily fly to Sweden, or Mexico, or anywhere else in the world you need something to sound fantastic. His bag's already packed.

Joel Raabe

Joel's Bike

Joel Raabe made his way to Gramercy Post from the midwest with a multimedia degree from Bradley University in hand. With expertise in audio, video and web design, he was immediately a vital asset and soon became Gramercy's head engineer. He's since brought in an AICP award for his Durex spot "Get It On," and headed the sound design and mix of WWII in HD, which won an Emmy for Music & Sound in 2010. Joel is our resident zen master, exuding peace and calm (and perfection) in the face of the tightest deadlines.

Beck Henderer-Peña

Beck's Bike

Beck Henderer-Peña has been producing, recording and mixing music for 15 years, working with artists such as Wayne Horvitz, Bill Frisell, Sharon Jones, Rufus Wainwright and Reggie Watts. He's produced music for countless commercials and regularly records voiceover and mixes spots for major brands like Toyota, MTV, TomTom and McDonalds at Gramercy Post, in conjunction with our friends at Bart Radio. If he's not in the studio, you can probably find him in his flip flops, tacking around Long Island Sound in his sailboat.
